FurFright 2003

I'll give more details about it soon.. for now, I must report it as a great little furry con, had a wonderful time, just what I needed today.

And yes, everyone *did* talk about CSI. Good icebreaker.

Why can't everyone talk about the good stuff on history/discovery? ... but ramble on for weeks about the latest network tv crap.

Well, it's been.. what... 2 days now? since the episode? An episode that concerns the fandom you and I are in specifically, will color some people's perceptions of us, made me have to play damage control at work to a handful of people who saw the episode and wanted to know "If things were really like that, was that the stuff I was into?"

Yeah, the importance will fade and fade fast, but right now. it's a topic of major furry fan interest, even if it was apparently Bad TV.

Bad TV, maybe, but that's what pullls in the ratings. And the more outlandish, the better.

It was nice to meet you at FurFright, and hope to chat more with you one of these days.
