Resolutions: Rolling update and a #12.
#1: The classic 'get fit and lose weight'. The goal here is the same as always: 244lb. Begun the year at 271, currently at 268.5 according to this morning's weighing. In Progress.

#2: Visit my primary care doctor twice, my dentist at least twice. Doctor was visited, though to get antibiotics and Codeine Cough Syrup for bronchitis. Still, on track.

#3: Scan every worthy piece of artwork in my assorted sketchbooks, mine and others, and get them posted. None yet. Sketchbook's sitting on desk.

#4: Eliminate one, if not two, characters from my online repertoire. I still have too many. Nothing yet.

#5: Do things more resulting in long-term benefits, especially as regards friends and family, over quick and simple short-term things. Delayed gratification. Hard to measure. Nothing notable.

#6: Enter the hard phase of "Stuff-reduction". EBay off at least 50% of my Transformers collection. Reduce, through Ebay, gifts, or charitable donation, my comic book collection to 50% its current size. Eliminate video games I will never play, likely through charitable donation.Nothing yet.

#7: Save $500 a month. Savings account is well over $1000 now and Checking account has grown, even with sister's expensive visiting. Success thus far.

#8: Eliminate obstacles to my love life. I will be focusing on doing one or two things a month, every month, which will increase my availability, minimize my distraction, and hopefully make me a.. better relationship choice. Two obstacles identified for January, both taken care of. Success!

#9: Get Mom set for me to leave the house. This includes purchasing of a new computer for my use and setting her up with the former one, performing all necessary cleaning chores possible, tossing junk out of the basement and attic discreetly. etc. Nothing yet.

#10: Increase my career path by studying one book or magazine every month that is cooking-related, to make myself a better chef; or, seek out an alternate career and prepare one thing a month in study for that. One cookbook purchases, not yet yead.

#11: Update my resume. 6 years since I've touched it, so much that needs to change. Nothing yet.

And finally, I figured out...

#12: Eat a snake. No, seriously. I've been going by 'Mongoose' as an RL nickname since 1992, I've ben playong on online since 1994, and I have yet to in person RL consume and digest the available and legal meat of the serpent. This should be corrected somehoe, if through somethign as lame as tinned rattlesnake, but preferably through good ethnic recipe (which would likely be Chinese or Tex-Mex).

I've had rabbit several times. We did a rabbit special at work in November, a sort of stew over puff pastry.. it's delicious if cooked right, a nice amount of 'game' flavor without being gamey. :9

Bleah!

Actually I hear it is a lean meat but the way it is procured is not proper, they torture the poor things, but to each their own. Poor long reptiles...

*hrrrf* Well, bleah. Even giving my carnivorous tendencies and mongoose alignment I don;t like to hear about tortured snakes. Quick clean kills, bite on the head behidn the hood is the way to go . *rkk-tkk-tkk!*

I'm pretty sure I am Dinobot-less. I must indeed get a list of them up.

Most notable ate Jetfire, Megaplex, 5/6 of the Protectobots..
